Genoa Friendship Gardens Lecture Series January 11 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am Join us at the Genoa Friendship Garden Education Building from 10:00-11:30 am  to learn how better to take care of your gardens and more! In January, we welcome Herman Aure, Galveston County Master Gardener with an expertise with fruit trees.  Mr. Aure's lecture will focus on "Handling, Planting & Maintaining Peach and Plum Fruit Trees".  Arrive early due to limited seating!

Open Garden Day for children is on for January 16, 2018!  However, due to the extensive Harvey damage, there is no access to the Bear Creek Extension location.  OCD has been relocated to the Weekley Community Center, located at 8440 Greenhouse Road, Houston, TX 77433.  There will not be an outdoor garden, so the activities will focus on nature crafts, small plants in pots, and games.
