Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service’s Healthy Lawns and Healthy Waters Program will host a residential rainwater harvesting and turf management training August 4, 2023 for Harris County. The free event will be in-person from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and be held at the Houston Community College, 22,910 Colonial Parkway in Katy. Cylinder Gardening Open Enrollment Begins

The Cylinder Gardening Program is great for school age children and can be used in classrooms, afterschool programs, homeschools, and other clubs or groups. If you want your organization to participate, please fill out a registration form. The Harris County Master Gardeners supply directions for planting and harvesting of vegetables in cylinders, other containers, and raised beds.
