Becoming a Master Gardener Volunteer
Thank you for your interest in becoming a Master Gardener for Texas A&M AgriLife Extension. Master Gardeners are volunteers trained to assist the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension in reaching its mission to bring relevant, research-based information in horticulture to the public. Volunteers are members of the local community who are enthusiastic, willing to learn, and want to educate other residents of Harris County. Open Garden Day 2018
Open Garden Day for the Bear Creek location is still going on, however, due to the extensive Harvey damage, there is no access to the Bear Creek Extension location. OGD has been relocated to the Weekley Community Center, located at 8440 Greenhouse Road, Houston, TX 77433. There will not be an outdoor garden, so the activities will focus on nature crafts, small plants in pots, and games.
